I realize it's already past mid November, but I couldn't resist sharing the november babies birthstone - citrine. Orange Topaz is also the birthstone for november, but we carry citrine, so that's what I wanted to share. 

citrine: (silicon-oxygen tetrahedra; Mohs hardness: 7) Orange quartz crystal. Citrine is said to be a joyful stone with bright energy. 

Fun fact about citrine: I was told that if you put a citrine point into your cash box or cash register that it will bring good fortune.
